Hamilton history defined our city with its massive expansion over a century ago.  Ward 3 is the area that blossomed at the time. It was the period of industrialization of Hamilton.

Today the services installed a century ago in most of ward 3 need major attention. Water mains frequently break and the sewer system has its issues, causing flooding of home and neighbourhoods. These services need to be replaced but the fixation with the LRT caused in part by the previous Wynne government, has resulted in neglect of the rest of the city other than the LRT route. That route has services that can serve for multiple decades without the need of replacement.

Funds saved from the LRT can be better spent on our infrastructure deficit, especially in Ward 3. This is possible because the Ford government has guaranteed 1 billion dollars, regardless of what the city chooses to spend it.
